About the Deputy Field Manager role

We are currently looking for a skilled, experienced and motivated Deputy Manager to support some of our wonderful nurseries. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager to take the next step in their career and take on a new and exciting role. The day-to-day role will include supporting the Nursery Manager in the overall running of the Nursery, whilst providing and ensuring a safe, stimulating and educational environment for the children and staff. This role will also involve supporting nurseries when senior staff are on away on holiday or unable to attend the nursery. 

Our 11 Nurseries offer state-of-the-art facilities, combining bright and spacious indoor rooms along with fabulous outdoor areas. 

You can earn up to £39,000 per annum, depending on experience, working 40 hours per week,

To be considered for the Nursery Deputy Manager role you must have:

  • At least 1 years’ experience in a Deputy Manager role or equivalent
  • Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years childcare
  • Excellent knowledge & understanding of the EYFS & Statutory framework
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to use your own initiative
  • Your passion to be shown in your day-to-day interaction with children
  • Coaching & mentoring abilities

  • The successful candidate will be required to undertake online safeguarding training and all positions are subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

* The welcome bonus will be paid in two instalments. £500 will be paid in the first salary payment after joining, then another £500 upon completion of probation (6 months, unless extended). The welcome bonus will be subject to normal Tax & NI deductions.

Key Responsibilities

Our  nurseries offer state-of-the-art facilities, combining bright and spacious indoor rooms along with fabulous outdoor areas.You can earn up to £39,000.00 per annum, depending on experience, working Full time.Our ideal candidate must confident in providing leadership for the staff. They must maintain a professional manner at all times providing a good role model for staff during work hours and out of work hours. To be responsible for the Health and Safety standards appropriate for the needs of young children and ensuring staff compliance and awareness.  The Field Deputy must be conversant with all nursery Policies and Procedures, the Job Description of the Manager and all other staff, and must be able to manage the nursery is the absence of the Manager. 

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • At least 1 years’ experience in a Deputy Manager role or equivalent
