Nursery Nurse Assistant - Empowering Learning : Job Details

Empowering Learning are looking to recruit experienced and enthusiastic Nursery Assistants within various locations in the Teesside area. Hours would be full time 5 days a week however times may vary week by week depending on the rota.

Locations:

• Stockton
• Billingham
• Hartlepool
• Middlesbrough
• Redcar
• Darlington
• Durham

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Support children with their learning through one-on-one assistance.
• Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Promote the social and emotional development of children, fostering their confidence and independence.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and other support staff to meet the individual needs of children.
• Contribute to the planning and preparation of teaching resources and materials.

Requirements:

• Ideally have minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant or Childcare qualification
• Have knowledge or experience working across EYFS in nurseries or school settings
• Caring and compassionate approach towards children
• Strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• A valid DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
