Nursery Nurse Assistant - Academics : Job Details

Academics Doncaster are a education recruitment agency supporting a local private nursery in recrutment process.

Currently we are searching for a full time Nursery Nurse assistant Cache Level 2 or 3. Succesfful candidates will have the chance to join a friendly family run private Nursery out the edge of Doncaster. Helping Education and training. The role is subject to the relevant experience, training & qualification.

Situated within a beautiful village edge of Doncaster, with a sizable outdoor area, unique farm connection which plays a large and key part in the nursery experience for the children & is such a lovely unique selling point on what this setting can offer as part of the widening the experience for all the children on roll at the setting.

This nursery are in an exciting position where they are expanding & keen to secure Nursery Nurses for two sites within this small chain of Nurseries. Open to considering an aspiring Nursery Assistant looking to take the next steps in their career as well as more seasoned practitioners. Rates of pay will be dependant on experience, training, qualifications & our client will support Academics in this process.

Personality & potential are key to this appointment, Academics are keen to help open doors for hard working, reliable and dedicated Nursery Nurses.

As a Nursery Nurse assistant the role will require you to:

• Be a role model, showcase your knowledge and lead with best practice.
• You may become a Keyworker, in this role you will need to ensure every individual child's needs are meet, including supporting parents with any SEND/ASL needs.
• Support the room/small team
• Help children with snacks, play time, ensure well being & safeguarding at all time.
• Hold an endhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to put a new one in process.
• Complete child safeguarding training

All applicants that apply MUST hold a Cache Level 2 or 3 or equivalent qualification, ideally have up to date paediatric first aid training & recent and relevant experience of working within a Nursery or similar setting. Having access to a car & being able to drive would also be advantageous due to the semi-rural location of this private Nursery.
