Nursery Nurse - Waltham Forest Primary School

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for an experienced Nursery Nurse to join a wonderful primary school in Waltham Forest. This is a full-time position (36 hours per week), providing a fantastic opportunity to work within a dynamic Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) setting. The role is set to begin in October 2024.

The Role:

As a Nursery Nurse in this well-established primary school, you will be a key worker responsible for supporting the development of children in the nursery class. You will be expected to provide a nurturing environment, fostering the emotional, social, and academic growth of the pupils. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and other EYFS staff to ensure that each child receives the best start to their educational journey.

Your role will involve:

• Supporting the delivery of the EYFS curriculum.
• Promoting positive play and interaction between children.
• Providing personal care, including feeding, changing, and ensuring the well-being of the children.
• Maintaining a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

• At least three years' experience working within an EYFS setting.
• Relevant EYFS qualifications, with a Level 3 qualification being essential.
• A solid understanding of EYFS standards and best practices.
• A passion for working with young children, demonstrating patience, enthusiasm, and creativity.

Salary: This position offers a competitive daily rate of £105-£115 (PAYE).
