Nursery Nurse - Primary School in Deptford Lewisham

8:30am-3:30pm

Monday to Friday

Engage Education is currently recruiting experienced and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse with SEND experience to join a mainstream primary school based in Deptford, Lewisham. This is a full time long term role starting immediately until July 2025 initially.

You will be working in a Nursery class supporting groups of SEND children who do not currently haave an EHCP, however, are showing clear signs of SEND. This ranges from Autism, ADHD to Speech and Language Difficulties. The school are looking for someone who specislises in Early Years and has a sound knowledge and experience of supporting SEND children in and EYFS setting.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
• Experience working with children in a nursery or similar early years setting such as another primary school
• A passion for early childhood education and development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sound knowledge of working with Autism and children who have speech and langauge needs.
• Ability to work well within a team and independently.
• DBS certificate which is enrolled onto the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
