Role: Lead Early Years PractitionerAge Group: 2 – 4 years oldStart Date: ASAPType of Role: PermanentHours: 7:45am – 16:45 Monday – Friday, Term-Time OnlySalary: £34,468 per annum
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of three dedicated practitioners: Provide guidance, support, and professional development to ensure high-quality care and education.
- Oversee and manage the entire class: Plan, implement, and evaluate a curriculum that meets the developmental needs of children aged 2-4 years.
- Ensure a nurturing and stimulating environment: Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning space that promotes children’s physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers: Maintain open communication and build strong relationships to support each child’s learning journey.
- Monitor and assess children’s progress: Use observations and assessments to tailor educational activities and report on developmental milestones.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards: Ensure all practices meet Ofsted and EYFS requirements.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Level 6 in Childcare or QTS: A recognised qualification in early years education.
- Proven experience in managing a small team: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff within an early years setting.
- Strong understanding of child development: Knowledge of the EYFS framework and best practices in early childhood education.
