Nursery Practitioner and Senior practitioner or Room leader.

We are currently recruiting at our beautiful little forward-thinking children’s day nursery and preschool in Walton On Thames.

We are seeking individuals who can promote high quality care in a stimulating, rich learning environment which offers wonderful opportunities for all our children.

Main responsibilities and duties:

• Provide a positive learning environment that offers choice, independence and a range of experiences, whilst meeting all of the children's needs.
• Be able to have key person responsibility and carry out daily and individual planning.
• Ensuring a safe, secure and caring environment for the well-being of the children.
• Assisting the Nursery Management in all aspects of providing day to day high quality childcare.

The ideal candidate will;

• Be passionate about childcare and helping children to achieve, play and be safe.
• Have previous experience of working with children under the age of five.
• Be qualified to NVQ level 2 / 3 or equivalent in childcare.
• Have a good working knowledge of the EYFS - Early Years Foundation Stages

We appreciate that it is important to get work life balance right and as such, we are happy to consider either full time (over 4 or 5 days), or Part time hours and salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
