Nursery Practitioner - Quint Education : Job Details

Our clients are seeking several Level 3 Practitioners and Room Leaders to work at their nurseries in the Surrey and South- East London areas.

Information:

• Locations: Croydon, Guildford

• Salary ranges: £ 25,000 - £34,000

• Contract: Full time (40 hours a week)

• Start Date: On completion of recruitment process

Your duties as a Nursery Practitioner:Assisting in the planning, delivery and evaluation of activities that support young children's learning, development and health ensuring consistency of high-quality provision Stimulating a learning environment that encourages children to learn and develop through playSupporting children in their play, planning for children and tracking development via the EYFSWorking as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of the room and fulfilling the personal care needs of the childrenFollowing safeguarding proceduresWork within the regulatory requirements, policies and proceduresYour duties as a Room Leader:Providing effective leadershipSupporting Staff in the allocated rooms and ensuring adult/child ratios are metObserving children and managing their learning and development recordsTo work with EYFS Curriculum and planning exciting age-appropriate activities both indoors and outdoors

Be a key person, complete observations and reports where required.To build positive relationships parents and Ofsted Working to nursery policy and procedures in relation to Safeguarding and Health & SafetyAttending staff meetings and training as requiredTo maintain confidentiality

Applicant requirements:

• A minimum of 1-2 years UK experience

• NVQ Level 3 in childcare or early years

• Eligible to work in the UK

• Fully enhanced DBS

• Up to date CV

• Travelling distance to post code area

• Flexible to be on rota

• Dedicated and committed
