Nursery Practitioner (Level 3)

Salary: Up to £28,000

Up to 42.5 hours per week

Our client is looking for a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner (Level 3) to join their warm and welcoming team. Nestled in the beautiful countryside, this nurturing setting provides a homely and friendly environment where children aged 8 weeks to 5 years can explore, learn, and grow. With expansive outdoor play spaces, a dedicated forest school, and engaging messy play areas, the service encourages creativity, curiosity, and hands-on learning.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting children’s development, creating engaging learning experiences, and working closely with families to provide the best start in life.

What We’re Looking For:

• A Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent)

• Experience working in a nursery or early years setting

• A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and best practices in early education

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• A passion for child development, play-based learning, and outdoor education

• A warm, patient, and inclusive approach to working with children and families

• Plan and deliver stimulating, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework

• Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where children can thrive

• Support children’s social, emotional, and educational development

• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

• Observe, assess, and document children’s progress to ensure tailored learning experiences

• Promote outdoor learning through forest school activities and play-based exploration
