O2C Process Architect/Lead - Outside IR35
Brand new opportunity for a Process Architect experience in Order to Cash to join a Global Publishing, business intelligence and events group.
Length: 6 months
Location: 2 days a week in London
Our client is embarking on an ambitious transformation of its customer buying journey. Over the course of a multi-year transformation, they are setting up a templated Lead to Cash journey aligned to product types and customer personas and supporting the business in the change and adoption of the new infrastructure.Within the transformation portfolio, they require a Process Architect which will own the design and delivery of the to be processes aligned to the GBS global standards.
Skills required
- Experience of working in and with Global Business Services (GBS) teams in both captive and BPO environments on process transformation and standardisation.
- Able to derive the fit gap (from as is to, to be) and to develop change impact and implementation plans.
- Strong experience of working on standardising and transforming Order to Cash Processes especially on process transformation and standardisation across R2R, P2P and Tax will be of an advantage.
- Good understanding of broader GBS considerations as part of a broader transformation programme e.g. importance of Legal Entity and Tax considerations.
- Experience of implementing an order management tool and building the connectors and interfaces to multiple ERPs to ensure that O2C processes can operate effectively.
- Experience of working on developing best in class processes including model processes for Oracle and SAP.
- Ability to be pragmatic when designing process to get the best outcomes for Business and GBS teams.
- Change management experience from change impact assessment through to implementation.
- Ability to write and update process documentation including SOPs, Desktop Procedures and key training artifacts.
- Ability to manage risk, issues and mitigation of these.
Knowledge and Qualifications:
- Strong Finance experience and understanding with a qualified accountant preferred.
- Experience of working across Lean Six Sigma, Agile and other project/process transformation methodologies.
- Worked with both Oracle and SAP from an ERP environment including a good understanding of what good processes look like.
- Proven experience in process design, optimisation and management.
- Experience with process modelling and mapping tools along with Microsoft Office Suite of applications.
