Occupational Hygienist
Our client, a leading consultancy based in the United Kingdom, specialises in providing testing, inspection, and certification services to companies in the construction, infrastructure, and health and safety sectors. Requirements:
- A science degree or related technical discipline and accredited membership of BOHS.
- At least 2 years of experience with a methodical approach to work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Possession of a full UK driving licence.
- Proficiency in common Microsoft packages.
- Reliable and hardworking attitude with attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive environmental assessments to evaluate health risks and hazards related to noise and vibration exposure in various settings.
- Documenting environmental procedures, processes, and tasks associated with noise and vibration for thorough record-keeping and analysis.
- Providing clear and accurate information, advice, and training to stakeholders within the environmental sector to promote awareness and compliance with relevant regulations and sustainability initiatives.
- Recommending and implementing organisational changes and facility designs aimed at minimising noise and vibration impacts on the environment and human health.
- Utilising specialized equipment to accurately measure and sample noise and vibration levels in the environment, ensuring precise data collection.
