  • Job Summary

    As an Occupational Therapist within Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust, you will:

    • Deliver comprehensive and patient-centered therapy services.
    • Assess, plan, and implement individual therapeutic interventions.
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes for patients.
    • Support individuals to maximize their independence and quality of life.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
    • Provide therapeutic interventions in acute or community settings.
    • Facilitate effective discharge planning and transitions of care.
    • Supervise and mentor junior staff as required (Band 7 roles).
    • Maintain accurate records and contribute to service improvement initiatives.

    Person SpecificationEssential Criteria

    • HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
    • Experience in acute, community, or care home settings.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to manage a varied caseload and prioritize effectively.

    Desirable Criteria

    • Previous Band 6/7 experience in similar roles.
    • Evidence of professional development in specialized areas of practice.
