Occupational Therapist (Band 5)

Location: PontypriddSalary: £30,420 to £37,029 per annumJob Type: Full-time, Permanent

Our private client are recruiting an Occupational Therapist for their Private Mental Health Hospital in Pontypridd. The hospital provides mental health treatment in both low secure and locked environment

Whether you have experience in rehabilitation, secondary healthcare, or a different specialism, this is a great opportunity to develop your skills in forensic and complex mental health care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct functional and occupational assessments to support individual recovery needs.
• Plan and deliver individual and group therapy sessions focused on mental health recovery and rehabilitation.
• Implement trauma-informed and social recovery models to support individuals with complex needs.

Requirements:

• HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
• Passion for mental health recovery and rehabilitation
• Interest in trauma-informed care & social models of mental health
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
