Ocean Import & Export Clerk - Heathrow Personnel : Job Details

I'm recruiting for an Oceanfreight Clerk to join an expanding freight company based in the Birmingham area. You must have Import OR Export experience.

Daily duties will include:

• Booking freight with approved carriers / lines
• Developing and building relationships with clients
• Handling queries
• Ensuring pre alert documents are on hand prior to vessel arrival
• Updating customers on shipments
• Arranging collection and delivery
• Liaising with customers and overseas agents

Experience needed:

• Hands on operational experience in an oceanfreight role import OR export
• Strong PC skills
• Minimum 2 years experience working for a freight forwarding company
• Excellent communication skills verbal and written

Working hours:

• Monday - Friday 0900am - 1730pm
