Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail receptionist to join our legal team at our Rusholme office. This job would be more suitable for the higher age group. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our Solicitors by conducting research, preparing legal documents, and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. This position requires strong organisational skills, the ability to manage time effectively, and excellent communication abilities typing, IT and telephone mannerism skills.
Duties
- Maintain and update case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in cases to gather information and provide updates.
- Manage schedules, appointments, and deadlines for legal proceedings.
- Utilise office software to create reports, presentations, and correspondence as needed.
- To be able to take complete phone and face to face/phone instructions
- Organise and update diaries
- To make appointments
- To Communicate with Courts Prisons and Police Stations
- Be able to update electronic files
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) with strong IT skills.
- Exceptional time management abilities to handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong organisational skills to maintain order in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- Attention to detail is essential for ensuring accuracy in legal documentation.

Expected hours: 35 per week Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm with one hour lunch
