Job Description :

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and organised Office Administrator/Assistant to join our client's Operations team. As the face of the organisation, you will play a vital role in creating a positive work environment and ensuring smooth daily operations. You will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and support the office, HR, and IT functions. Working Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm, paying £13 per hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer calls, greet visitors, and provide exceptional customer service
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming work space
  • Coordinate office maintenance and supplier interactions
  • Prepare meeting rooms and ensure they are always ready for use
  • Manage office supplies and equipment, placing orders and managing inventory
  • Create, maintain, and file office documentation to a high standard
  • Assist in planning and preparing for social events
  • Arrange travel and accommodation when necessary
  • Support HR in recruitment activities, including posting job openings and scheduling interviews
  • Provide basic IT support and troubleshoot hardware and software issues
  • Coordinate with external IT support for complex technical problems
  • Ensure office technology, including phones, computers, and printers, are in good working condition
  • Handle any ad-hoc administrative duties as required

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in office administration and customer service
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
