Regional Sales Support Assistant - London based

£26,000 to £32,000 salary, plus benefits and bonus

I’m working on behalf of an alternative investment client based in London, and they are looking for a Regional Sales Support Assistant to support their clients and business development team across the UK.

The Regional Sales Support Assistant sits within a busy Sales Support team of 5, forming part of the Sales and Marketing department of circa 50. The team is responsible for supporting the Business Development Managers, Marketing and Strategic Partner teams with a number of functions listed below, ultimately helping our team support Financial Advisers with their clients’ investments:

The role

  • Complete administrative tasks for the London and Midlands Sales Teams to enable them to carry out their responsibilities effectively and efficiently
  • Manipulate, analyse & interpret complex data using Microsoft Excel and the CRM system (Salesforce)
  • Produce in-depth reports and dashboards to present to the teams and senior management
  • Salesforce data champion, data cleansing to ensure that client date is accurate and relevant
  • Communicate with Financial Advisers and their staff by phone and email for admin matters
  • Event administration including booking venues, liaising with Marketing & sending CPD certificates
  • Build and develop relationships with the BDMs in the supported regions a business

Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, charts and pivot tables) is essential
  • Experience of using a CRM system is preferred
  • Must demonstrate strong administrative skills and have a keen eye for detail
  • Have pride in their work and be focused on the internal reputation of the team
  • Excellent English grammar to produce high quality, well-written emails
  • Strong communication skills and be confident dealing with clients on the telephone
  • Display curiosity and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organised and able to work unsupervised efficiently and effectively
  • Robust and flexible work ethic

In return you will be offered a salary of £26,000 to £32,000, plus a generous benefits package and bonus structure.
