The Recruitment Co. are recruiting for one of our key clients in Newton Heath and this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Working with Financial Management Accounting Systems (SAGE)
  • Carry out daily Ledger Accounting for both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
  • Deal with daily financial queries internally and externally
  • Daily Bank Reconciliation.
  • Gather Supplier's invoices from each department, reconcile, authorise and ensure prompt payment of invoices
  • Produce Debtors and Creditors Reports and Analyse findings
  • Produce Bank Reconciliation with General Ledger
  • Closure of debtors Accounts -undertake Budget managements, Fees, and Expenses
  • Vat Returns
  • Credit controlling; chasing debts, ensure we keep in line with the cash forecast
  • Keeping all client information up to date and current
  • Daily Sales Invoicing
  • Daily Purchase Updating
  • Checking and reconciling supplier statements and dealing with differences in a timely manner.
  • Payment Runs - twice per month
  • Accrual monthly overview
  • Weekly Time sheets
  • Monthly Payroll summary
  • Dealing with employee wage queries
  • Ensuring Staff files are compliant at all times
  • Monthly headcount and open position report to HQ
  • Weekly time and attendance reporting to management

The Person:

  • A recognised financial qualification or at least five years of experience.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential
  • Able to maintain accurate and effective record keeping systems.
  • Can produce accurate records and reports
  • Can communicate effectively with HQ in Germany
  • Shows sensitivity and objectivity in dealing with confidential issues
  • Works on own initiative, prioritise work, handle pressure, and meet deadlines
  • Willing to contribute to the team
  • Flexible and efficient while demonstrating excellent attention to detail
  • Reliable, punctual, professional
  • Strong administration skill
  • Strong communication skills
  • Competent in Excel and Word
