Job Title: Administrator Team Leader
Location: Outskirts of Exeter
Duration: 2 months to Permanent
Hours: 37.5 - Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm
Salary: £12.50 per hour
The Role: Our client is seeking an experienced Administrator Team Leader with a proven health care or Practice background to join their busy team! Overseeing a small team of Reception Administrators, you will provide crucial support and guidance to the admin team and the Practice Manager, contributing not only to the medical practice but providing an essential service to their patients. You will be responsible for providing guidance and direction as well as administrative support across the multidisciplinary team.
Key Duties:
· Line managing all administrative staff, supporting staff development, providing guidance and direction and ensuring staff are up to date with mandatory training.
· Identifying and delivering team training where required.
· Reviewing and updating all administrative and reception policies and procedures as required.
· Supporting the management team in the compilation of practice reports and the practice development plan.
· Developing, implementing and embedding efficient office processes and procedures to adhere to extant legislation.
· Coordinating the provision of temporary administrative and reception staff, ensuring sufficient cover is provided for periods of leave and other staff absences.
· Coordinating the home visits rota in conjunction with Senior Partner.
· Providing initial guidance and advice to patients who wish to verbally complain.
· Managing all deliveries to the practice, ensuring adherence to the cold chain policy as necessary.
· Liaising with multi-disciplinary team members and secondary care services.
· Assisting with general administrative tasks as needed.
