We have an exciting opportunity to join our People Team at our Stratford HQ as an Occupational Health and Wellbeing Manager.
The Role
At Greater Anglia we believe that a healthy and engaged workforce is the key to our success. We are seeking an experienced and proactive Occupational Health Manager to join our team and lead our efforts in managing occupational health contracts and ensuring alignment with our company's wellbeing strategy.
As the Occupational Health Manager, your primary focus will be overseeing and managing our occupational health contracts to ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and alignment with our company's wellbeing strategy.
In addition to the above, you will also lead on the development and deployment of the company’s health and wellbeing strategy to promote, maintain and improve the health and wellbeing of GA colleagues, in line with current guidance, regulatory requirements and best practice.
Your expertise will drive continuous improvement in our occupational health initiatives.

What we are looking for
We are looking for a colleague with significant experience in managing occupational health services and contracts, with a strong emphasis on compliance with legal requirements and best practices. They should demonstrate expertise in developing and delivering educational materials and training related to health and wellbeing, particularly in areas such as mental health and lifestyle management. Relationship-building skills are required for engaging with internal and external stakeholders, including health professionals and industry bodies. The colleague should be proactive in leading wellbeing initiatives, coordinating health promotion events, and supporting efforts to address mental health awareness and stress management.
Collaborative skills are needed for partnering with HR teams to analyse attendance trends and ensure that the company's wellbeing strategy is effectively implemented and supported by benefits programs. The colleague should have a commitment to continuous improvement in occupational health initiatives, complemented by an understanding of health surveillance tailored to the rail industry. Lastly the colleague should have a professional qualification in an Occupational Health related subject and a good knowledge of quality standards applicable to health and wellbeing/occupational health services.
