Role Overview:

We are looking for a compassionate One-to-One Teaching Assistant to work with a Year 9 student who has an EHCP for Autism Spectrum Condition and ADHD. You will help the student navigate both academic challenges and social interactions, contributing to their overall development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the student in their academic subjects, following their EHCP goals.
• Help develop the student's communication and social interaction skills.
• Provide emotional support, particularly around managing ADHD and Autism-related challenges.
• Monitor the student's progress and collaborate with teachers and parents.
• Encourage a positive and supportive learning environment.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience supporting students with Autism and ADHD.
• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain patient and adaptable.
• Commitment to supporting the student's holistic development.
