The Business:Nigel Wright is delighted to be working with a British independent retailer founded in the North East.  A family run business that has expanded over the last decade across retail stores and ecommerce.The Role:•    Product Presentation: Ensure that all products are accurately listed.•    Category Management: Oversee the categorisation and arrangement of products to ensure easy navigation and product discovery for customers.•    Inventory Management: Monitor product stock levels, availability and update listings.•    Sales Optimisation: Implement strategies to promote key products, improve conversion rates, and maximize sales by optimising product placement and visibility on the site.•    Pricing & Promotions: Support the setup and execution of promotional pricing and discounts, ensuring accuracy across all digital platforms.•    Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, purchasing, design, and IT teams to ensure cohesive product launches and promotional campaigns.•    Performance Analytics: Use web analytics tools (GA4) to track product performance, identify trends, and optimise product merchandising strategies.The Person:•    Proven experience in e-commerce merchandising.•    Strong understanding of online retail platforms.•    Familiarity with Google Analytics or similar tools to monitor and assess product performance.•    Basic knowledge of SEO principles and best practices.•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.•    Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.•    Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.The role will provide flexibility and an opportunity for career progression, working closely alongside the Ecommerce and Marketing team you will be the link that will enable continuous improvement and help to drive sales.Hybrid working and generous perks and benefits.
