Operations Assistant - Reed : Job Details

We are looking for an operations coordinator to assist with our Ro/Ro & container shipments worldwide, but the key areas are Africa, Middle East, Far East & the Caribbean.

The role would entail the following…

• Coordinating the bookings from the start to finish with the clients, shipping lines & suppliers• Monitoring the shipments with the lines & keeping the clients up to date throughout the booking process• Producing the relevant documents for the department i.e. booking confirmations, shipping notes, Bills of Lading & instructions to the lines• Able to arrange customs entries, VGM’s & other relevant procedures to ensure the cargo is shipped• A good customer service level, grammar, an eye for detail & the willingness to learn is a must

This is a new department that is expanding & with the right candidate there is potential to expand into other areas.
