Operations Assistant

We are currently recruiting for an Operations Assistant to join a dynamic team within a well-established organisation. This role is crucial for supporting the Operations Manager in various operational tasks including maintaining delivery schedules, preparing goods for dispatch, and managing stock. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for career growth, including potential responsibilities in export matters and assistance at tradeshows.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Assist the Operations Manager in maintaining the Delivery Schedule aligned with Purchase Orders.
- Help in preparing goods for dispatch, including labelling and packing of products.
- Participate in product testing and assist in stock management, including stock checks.
- Support the Operations Manager in ensuring the management and tidiness of the unit.
- Assist the Office Manager in producing invoices.
- Initially shadow the Operations Manager to potentially take a future lead in export matters, with comprehensive training provided as needed.
- Maintain SPIRE and take the lead for Export Inspections.
- Assist the Business Development Director and Office Manager in preparing show stands and associated equipment for tradeshows, with occasional assistance at the events.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Ability to work effectively under the guidance of the Operations Manager.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities, particularly in exports.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- No prior experience in exports required as training will be provided.
