Amazing opportunity available for an Operations Assistant to join a Tour Operator in Berkshire. As the Operations Assistant you will be Assisting the Managing Director in efficiently and accurately supporting the ground handling operations in a busy and growing travel environment.
The Job:
- Supporting the team's daily operations and logistics
- Maintaining organised filing systems for both digital and physical documents
- Taking business-related phone calls and responding in a timely manner to all business-related emails
- Liaising with service providers, partners, suppliers etc. as required
- Loading and updating client / booking data into the reservation systems
- Issuing booking documents (invoices, tickets, itineraries, vouchers etc.)
- Checking supplier invoices
- Corresponding with service providers worldwide and requesting reservations in ground-services
- Conducting relevant industry research
Skills Required:
- Experience working in a busy office
- Proficiency and proven experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent logistical thinking
- Demonstrated ability to manage, prioritise and coordinate projects, including planning, task organisation and working to deadlines
The Package:
- The role is full onsite Monday - Friday
- Salary depending on experience
