Operations Assistant – Elgin (IV30 6JQ) - William Wilson

 As an Operations Assistant based in Elgin, you’ll be responsible for:  

• Serving customers on the trade counter offering advice and product knowledge

• Issuing quotes to customers and following them up

• Carrying out general warehouse tasks

• Picking and packing customer orders (this will involve some heavy lifting)

• Ensuring goods in/out are dealt with safely and accurately

• Maintaining high standards within the warehouse.

• Loading the vehicles for deliveries

This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Thursday 08.00am - 5.00pm, Friday 08.00am - 4.00pm. Once fully trained you will also go onto the Saturday rota working 08.00am – 12.00pm

 And here’s what we’d like you to have: 

• Prior experience in dealing with customers and delivering outstanding customer service

• Previous warehouse experience would be ideal

• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn, including the completion of necessary training (forklift licence training will be provided)

• Basic computer knowledge

• A can-do attitude and willingness to use initiative working in this busy branch
