Operations clerk - Road & Sea freight - Heathrow Personnel : Job Details

We are recruiting for an EXPERIENCED freight operations clerk to join our client in the Southampton area.

You must have strong freight forwarding & customs experience dealing with both Imports and exports for road freight / ocean freight.

You will be arranging road freight transport and booking hauliers, completing customs entries and arranging sea freight shipments, LCL / FCL.

Duties include:

- Updating customers on deliveries & collections

- Liaising with the airfreight team

- Billing and invoicing of shipments

- Creating job files

- Customs entries

- Quotations

- Cross Trade shipments / Multi modal
