Operations Co-Ordinator - Bis Henderson : Job Details

Location: Watford Salary: £24,000 + Generous bonus scheme (OTE £28,000 +)Summary:At Bis Henderson, we are looking for an Operations Co-Ordinator to join a Global Logistics and Supply Provider. The role focuses on liaising with customers, suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure orders are completed within customer set time-frames. You will need to expedite orders in order to keep delays to a minimum as well as investigate and resolve and discrepancies that may occur throughout the process. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a customer service focused position, with order processing and order expediting responsibilities. They will also need to have excellent communication skills, and strong attention to detail. Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring suppliers have processed purchase orders
• Expediting orders to reduce lead times where possible, keeping any delays to a minimum
• Reviewing all supplier provided documentation to ensure their compliance
• Liaising with clients, keeping them updated on the progress of their orders
• Investigating and resolving any discrepancies that may occur or are reported by the customer
• Maintain close communications and develop relationships with freight forwarders, suppliers and customers

Experience:

• Prior experience in a customer service focused position, with order processing and order expediting responsibilities
• Strong attention to detail and investigative mindset, able to notice and resolve discrepancies
• Knowledge and confident usage of MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word and Outlook
• Experience working within the Supply Chain industry, speaking with suppliers and customers would be highly advantageous
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
