Director of Operations - Private Healthcare ClinicLocation: Harley Street District, LondonSalary: Circa £70,000 per annumWe are seeking an experienced Director of Operations to join our client's established private healthcare clinic in the prestigious Harley Street District of London. With over 20 years of reputation in the industry, we are looking for a dynamic individual to lead clinic operations and drive the business forward.Role Overview
The Director of Operations will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the clinic's operations, acting as the owner's voice and ensuring smooth functioning across all departments. This role requires a strong background in private healthcare, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work autonomously.Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate all business operations, serving as the primary liaison between owners, staff, and external stakeholders
Drive business development initiatives and build positive relationships with partners, including GP referrals
Oversee governance, ensuring compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards
Manage HR functions, including recruitment, hiring, and performance management
Handle escalated patient complaints and resolve complex issues
Coordinate with doctors, stakeholders, and patients to ensure high-quality care and service delivery
Oversee CCSD and related administrative processes
Provide leadership and direction to the office manager and clinic manager, who will report directly to this position
Make high-level decisions and problem-solve across all areas of the business
Develop and maintain a close working relationship with the clinic owners
Promote the business to external shareholders
Manage both the clinical and operations teams
Drive the business forward from day one
Qualifications and Experience
Degree qualification relevant to the business
Minimum 5 years of solid experience in a similar role within private healthcare
Strong background in a medical discipline
Extensive knowledge of healthcare governance and regulations
Proven track record in HR management and recruitment processes
Excellent people management and delegation skills
Strong business acumen and problem-solving abilities
Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
