Operations Lead - Distinct Recruitment : Job Details

This is a newly created role, reporting in to the Operations Manager and coordinating a small field service team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the field-based service team, route planning, analysing the sales data, overseeing the maintenance of a fleet of 8 vehicles (MOT’s, insurance, repairs etc) and H & S on-site. This role would suit an experienced people leader, IT savvy with strong analytical skills, and organised with high attention to detail.

Salary is £29,000 - £31,000 DOE, Hours of work 7.30-4.00pm, Monday - Friday.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

• Oversee the booking in, allocation of installation of machines
• Monitoring sales data to enhance efficiency and profitability
• Manage route planning
• Overseeing and monitoring compliance with H & S and Food Safety management
• Conducting risk assessments on manual handling
• Leading and overseeing a team of 8 service staff
• Fleet maintenance - vehicle repairs, MOT’s, services and insurance

ABOUT YOU

• Proven management and leadership experience, ideally field-based staff
• COSHH / Understanding of Food Safety Management
• Analytical, especially Excel
• Attention to detail | Prioritisation | Problem Solving | Multitasking
• Driving Licence
