A fantastic opportunity for a Operations Manager to join a large legal firm in Liverpool City Centre and 2/3 days working from home. The role will initially be a 14-month fixed term (FTC) maternity cover, with possibilities of becoming permanent.Monday to Friday 09:30 -17:00 Excellent salary package up to £70k + a huge amount of benefits including:

The role of the Operations Manager will involve:
- Working closely with the sales/business development & marketing teams.
- Taking the lead on improving Sales processes and driving best practice, identifying areas for improvement, defining new/improved processes and rolling those out to the team.
- Championing best practice and enforce standards to increase the speed, quality and consistency of our activities.
- Project managing the roll out of a new workflow tool
- Work with stakeholders from all levels, building strong relationships with key individuals
- and teams to identify areas for improvement and build new workflows to support the function.
- Manage our Marketing & Business Development Operations team (5 direct reports)
- Taking responsibility for day-to-day management of the team, including identifying their training and development needs and managing and mentoring each individual.
- Allocating tasks to the team, manage expectations and deadlines.
- Develop a "how to guide" for PA's & Paralegals
- Produce Management reports to measure and report on ROI
The Operations Manager role would suit someone with the following skills and experience:
- A good understanding of Sales/Business Development/Marketing processes within the Legal sector
- Previous experience in improving processes
- Desire to take ownership and work independently
- Ability to work well with Key stakeholders
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work on new developments from start to finish, from planning and design, to development, testing, implementation, and monitoring.
- Experience managing a team (Sales or Marketing)
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
- Willingness to learn new technologies/methodologies
