• Efficient running of the warehouse and organisation of staffing levels to ensure efficient loading and unloading and picking.
• To fulfil health and safety obligations and responsibilities under the company health and safety policy and report and investigate accidents including Insurance claims
• To manage training to ensure effective employee induction
• Arrange/Review maintenance of all capital equipment and site infrastructure
• Organize daily efficient and effective scheduling of loads to fulfil customer requirements
• Deal with driver HR issues and record/manage holidays and sickness
• Ensure full tachograph management requirements for download/upload and manage WTD
• Ensure/fulfil environmental (ISO 14001) depot objectives and continue to improve efficiencies
