The Company
KSEYE Group is an established bridging finance company specialising in the bridging and short-term lending markets. Following a departmental restructure, the company is now keen to welcome an Operations Manager to work closely with the Head of Operations and support the streamlining and process establishment of the Operations Team.
Job Summary:
As an Operations Manager for KSEYE, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence by identifying, planning, and executing business process improvements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyse, design, and implement changes to existing processes, systems, and policies. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, change management, and process improvement methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Work in conjunction with the Head of Operations to design, develop and support system implementations, process improvement and change management.
- Lead the comprehensive gathering, analysis, and documentation of system requirements, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives, stakeholder needs, and industry best practices. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications, facilitating the development of robust systems solutions.
- Facilitate seamless communication and collaboration between software developers and systems operations teams to ensure alignment on infrastructure requirements, deployment processes, and system performance optimisation strategies.
- Ensure comprehensive testing protocols are developed and executed for all system components, overseeing the delivery process to guarantee seamless integration and functionality across the entire system infrastructure.
- Collaborate with lending and cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement and define project scope and objectives.
- Create companywide efficiencies and manage operational and strategic initiatives, with a view to automating as much of the lending, collections, accounting and business intelligence processes as possible.
- Assess the risk attributed to any application changes and escalate concerns where necessary.
- Develop, cost, and execute project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project completion.
- Create and implement change management plans to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and systems.
- Lead and manage change initiatives that drive operational improvements across the organisation.
- Support with the launch of new lending products, preparing systems for launch, testing of policy, processes, and training new and/or existing staff.
- Develop and deliver training programs to support adoption of new processes, policies and systems.
- Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues to project stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to measure project success and identify areas for further improvement.
Education & Experience
- Comprehensive experience of the UK mortgage market and a thorough understanding of loan underwriting built in a bridging or long-term lending environment.
- A strong and demonstrable understanding of process improvement, change management and creating operational efficiencies.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritise effectively to manage several time critical tasks at once.
