Here at GXO, we’re recruiting for an Operations Manager to join our growing team in Crick. You’ll effectively coordinate GXO operations to meet site needs and achieve KPIs within budget. Foster GXO values and promote quality and value of site functions internally and externally.

This is a full-time, permanent position where you will work 5 out of 7 days on a rotating schedule: 07:00–15:00, 15:00–23:00, and 10:00–18:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £55,000 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Provide guidance to the Operations team on the targets and plans for the operation

  • Ensure that the customer’s needs are fully understood and translated into effective operational plans

  • Develop and maintain plans and reports forecasting the storage capacity available across the site to support the profit and efficiency of the operation

  • Work directly with the customer to improve the overall service provided by the operation

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Have demonstrable experience in a fast-moving retail logistics operation

  • Customer focused, operationally astute and experienced in achieving stretching objectives and operating to high standards

  • Excellent people management skills with the ability to build credible and strong professional relationships at all levels

  • Good analytical and numerical skills with a high level of attention to detail
