Description
In the role of general manager, you will hold the following responsibilities:
- Lead an existing team of 6 with a focus on day-to-day operations management, business strategy, top-line growth and strategic operational improvements.
- Oversee the day-to-day execution of multiple client projects and work directly with clients on initiation, trajectory, and closure.
- You will make an important contribution by acquiring and retaining clients as well as improving relations with existing clients through project performance-based metrics.
- Assessing the aviation needs and requirements of our customers while developing a relationship and providing solutions
- Securing project orders and delivering on a solution that meets the client needs by leveraging our global partnerships.
- Overseeing all business functions, you will have directive input on sales, procurement, shipping, and HR decisions.
- Executing upon strategic business investments.
Profile
We are interested in speaking with ambitions and motivated candidates that are looking to work for a service provider that can fast tract your career in this broad role within a specialist sector. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor's or graduate degree in a suitable field such as Logistics, Supply Chain, STEM, or Business Management
- 4-6 years of relevant experience, ideally to a management level
- Willingness and ability to travel and to serve international clients and suppliers as well as air shows and conferences
- Aerospace and/or defence experience - desirable but not essential
- Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively to create an inclusive environment with people at all levels
- Strong time-management skills, high degree of flexibility, and excellent multitasking ability
- Comfort with ambiguous, ever-changing situations
