Job Description :

We are seeking a Divisional Operations Project Manager who can expertly manage a complex, multi-site project portfolio across 7 European sites for a leading FMCG business. The role requires a confident leader who can spearhead initiatives, deliver sustainable results, and optimise operational efficiency.

Description

The Operations Project Manager- EU will report in to the Divisional Operations Director, forming a key part of the leadership team. They will be responsible for delivering the divisions projects on time and within budget. They will:

  • Manage all divisional operations projects ensuring timely delivery and quality results
  • Develop and implement strategies for operational efficiency
  • Ensure clarity on project scope, costs, timing, quality & deliverables
  • Lead & Coach our division in Project Management principles, project delivery and change management.
  • Work closely with Group PMO and implement solutions
  • Establish and monitor project budgets and timelines
  • Ensure all projects comply with industry regulations and company standards
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Report progress and results to senior stakeholders

Profile

The successful Operations Project Manager- EU will possess a range of the following:

  • Proven experience in managing complex multi-site project portfolios or large-scale transformation projects within a manufacturing environment
  • A strong engineering or site/operations management background
  • Clear understanding of business P&L/ Working Capital/ Balance sheet
  • Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodology
  • Strong leadership acumen with the ability to engage staff across all levels, in all functions of the business
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • The ability to travel approx 50% of the time
