Our client is seeking a proactive Site Operator to join their team in Newport on a temporary basis for a minimum of 1 month, potentially leading to 3 months. This role involves handling various tasks at an industrial waste facility, including packing waste, managing solvents, and operating a forklift. Ideal candidates will have some experience in an industrial environment and a forklift licence, although training can be provided for the right applicant.

• Packing waste materials into large containers efficiently and safely.
• Emptying paint containers and managing waste disposal according to safety regulations.
• Bulking solvents using a pump, ensuring accurate handling and storage.
• Moving drums and other materials around the site using a forklift.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all times.
• Adhering to all health and safety guidelines and company policies.

• Experience in an industrial or similar environment is desirable.
• Forklift licence is desirable but not essential; training can be provided.
• Ability to follow strict safety and operational guidelines.
