Morson is partnering with a Manchester-based business to recruit an Outsource Payroll Manager. This role will focus on supporting the accurate and efficient processing of payroll and benefits for external clients. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance, client satisfaction, and accurate report delivery, working closely with both clients and internal teams.
Your Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for external clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations, including tax, NI, and pensions.
- Coordinate payroll schedules, ensuring all client deadlines are met.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to client inquiries efficiently.
- Manage employee benefits administration for clients, including pensions and health insurance.
- Generate and analyse payroll-related reports, providing strategic insights to improve client decision-making.
- Support junior team members with guidance, ensuring best practices are followed.
About You:Essential Skills:
- Proven experience managing payroll for multiple clients.
- Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, tax regulations, and benefits administration.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills to meet payroll deadlines.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Excel for data analysis and report generation.
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams effectively.
Desirable Skills:
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or relevant certification.
- Experience implementing new client payroll services.
