PA/Secretary – Haywards Heath - £27000 - £28000 - Term Time only
Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and highly organised Personal Assistant/Secretary to provide administrative support for our education sector client. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Own transport required due to the rural setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support:
- Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings.
- Prepare and distribute meeting agendas and minutes.
- Handle correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail.
- Documentation Management:
- Maintain organized filing systems for documents and records.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other materials.
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Communication:
- Facilitate effective communication within the team and across departments.
- Assist in organising school events and activities.
General Office Management:
- Ensure office supplies are stocked and maintained.
- Coordinate maintenance and IT support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or Secretary, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
- Familiarity with educational policies and procedures is a plus.
