PA TO CONTROLLER: Our client is excited to offer a temporary 3-month opportunity with a globally recognised media company with a rich history spanning over 100 years. This leading broadcasting corporation provides content that informs, educates, and entertains. Enjoy a hybrid working environment, spending 2 to 3 days in the office each week. Candidates must have a minimum of 12 months’ proven experience as an Executive Assistant/Personal Assistant. PA TO CONTROLLER ROLE:
- Being a good communicator with knowledge of the managers or activities assisted
- Acting as the first point of contact, handling complex and confidential situations and requests in a timely and effective manner
- Organising events and meetings, including booking venues, travel, and accommodation, as well as providing diary management services, managing and scheduling key calendar appointments to ensure effective use of managers’ time
- Liaising frequently with various internal and external contacts, screening and prioritising all forms of incoming communications
- Maintaining an efficient and effective filing system, ensuring all documentation is catalogued and organised using internal systems
- Undertaking other duties, including collating and preparing invoices, raising purchase orders, processing expenses, and aiding managers
- Preparing documents, presentations, and other materials to a clear brief, using established formats and standard software
- Preparing straightforward analysis, manipulation, and interpretation of data
- Dealing with routine issues and coordinating more complex responses, ensuring timely and effective delivery
- Being responsible for coordinating team IT requests, user administration, systems access, and record keeping, working with the lead asset manager to ensure those joining or moving to the department are equipped with the correct IT assets, and leavers’ assets are returned
PA TO CONTROLLER ESSENTIALS:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Proven experience in diary management, event coordination and booking travel
- Previous experience working in creative industries
- Experience supporting at Directors level
