Packing Supervisor - Clarify Consultancy Ltd : Job Details

Our client, an established national manufacturing company, has a requirement for a motivated, proactive, and hands-on Packing Supervisor to join their team on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Managing Director, duties to include:

· Supervise and coordinate activities of the Packing Team in packaging products and materials for storage or shipment.

· Study production order to ascertain type quantity of product, containers to be used and other packaging requirements.

· Inspect products prior to packaging returns rejected products to production departments.

· Double-check items to verify the accuracy of outgoing orders

· Observe packaging operations and inspect containers to verify conformance to specifications.

· Check adjusts and repair packaging machinery or notifies maintenance department.

· Train workers in operation of equipment and ensure they adhere to Health & Safety procedures.

· Work with other production team members to effectively complete assigned tasks

The successful applicant will have previous production line/warehouse experience, and a supervisory background would be beneficial, together with a meticulous work ethic, great man-management and communication skills, and a good level of physical fitness. Honesty and integrity are paramount.
