Speech Pathologist (Full - time or part-time)
Hello there,
Ever wanted to work in Australia? We can sponsor you to work down-under and have a life experience you'll never forget - you probably won't want to leave!
We assume you're looking for a fulfilling career. But are you looking for…
- Role diversity and varied work; including individual, group, education sessions.
- Flexibility in therapist directed work hours.
- An industry leading internal learning and development program to harness both your clinical and leadership skills with real progression to senior roles.
- Access to a well-respected Clinical Advisory Panel.
- A wiz bang administration team to support you, so you can focus on your clinical practice.
We’re Splash Paediatric Therapy (SPT). We’re a bunch of down - to- earth Paediatric Occupational and Speech Therapists, but probably not the kind you're used to. We're an energetic, tech savvy and dynamic team of 60, all as expertly brilliant and hard-working as the next. And, whilst we passionately love what we do, we’re in the business of caring and supporting children and their families to grow and develop within their community. ?
To help us as our client base expands, we’ve got an awesome team of talented therapists and administration support, and we need you to join us. We all work together and learn from each other providing assessment and therapy services to children (0-16 years) presenting with a range of speech, language, literacy, and mealtime needs. We are a clinic - based service with a strong connection to schools, kindergartens, and the community. And, if you haven’t had much experience in paediatrics, that’s OK, we will induct you, train you and equip you with the skills and confidence to be the best you can be.
If you’d like to work with us: we’d like you to have SP experience and a passion for paediatrics. You’ll build rapport easily because you’re humble and confident in your clinical reasoning skills providing SP assessment and goal directed interventions with positivity and energy. You’ll have no problem with providing consultations to kinder, schools and community services and you get a buzz out of supporting and running group programs as well as parent only coaching and education programs. You’re a self-starter and a proactive type but that doesn’t mean we will neglect you! We’ll be talking with you weekly in our 1:1 catch ups, our leadership team is always accessible and dedicated to your development and happiness. We’re a small business with a big heart.
If you’d like to find us: type Splash Paediatric Therapy into Google Maps, and you’ll see we’re based in Werribee, Essendon, and Hawthorn. You’ll also see we’re close to great coffee and public transport. What you won’t see is our relaxed, open, and friendly practice vibes, nor our fruit bowls, coffee machine or snacks (Google has its limitations).
If you’ve made it this far (and you still have a smile on your face), here’s a series of tips to win you brownie points. Your application should include a resume and a cover letter and demonstrate:
