Job title: Paint Prepper (OUTSIDE IR35)Job location: ClactonHourly pay rate: £18.00 per hourShifts: Monday to Friday, 07:00-16:30Hours per week: 45 hours per weekStart date: ASAPDuration: 38 weeksRole Summary: This role will consist of the refurbishment or rolling stock passenger carriages, on a dilapidation programme.The work will consist of the aesthetic refurbishment and SMART repair of multiple fleets. Key Responsibilities:* Work will be the paint refresh of rolling stock.* Preparing surfaces for the paint team in order to apply new paint in line with the customer specifications.* Your role will be primarily the surface preparation for the Paint Spraying team which will include sanding, masking and polishing the required surfaces.* You will work closely alongside a team of Paint Sprayers.* The role requires the completion of any necessary paperwork required by the client.* To understand all Standard Operating Procedures and work to these without exception, unless advised by management.* Ensure the required daily workload is completed on time and to the customer and company standard.* To carry out reasonable tasks as requested by the Team Leader or Production Manager in line with Company objectives.Requirements:* Previous paint prepping experience.* Previous use of hand and power tools relevant to surface preparation activities.* Must have worked on Rolling Stock or similar large vehicle panels.
