Residential Paralegal - Progressive Law Firm - North London / Enfield - up to £27k + benefits

We’re looking for a proactive, organised and hardworking Paralegal to join a progressive, multi-partner law firm in North London.

With an ambitious and driven nature, the Paralegal will join the Residential Property team and assist in the management of real estate case files.

We’re looking for someone who is a confident communicator as our client believes that the professional relationships they build and maintain with their clients is the key to their ongoing success.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with residential real estate case files
• Providing clients with high quality and proactive legal advice
• Opening, preparing and managing files and bundles
• Drafting contracts, checking titles and preparing initial reports to clients
• Applying for and reporting on local searches, chancel, environmental, plans searches and drainage searches, index map searches and more.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in a legal role - Legal Administrator, Legal Assistant or Paralegal
• Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
• Strong organisation skills and the ability to prioritise
• Proficiency in undertaking legal research
• Experience in preparing legal documentation
• Understanding pre and post-completion processes
• IT literate - good MS Office skills
• Proactive team player
