This hybrid-based Paraplanner job in North Somerset provides opportunity to join a quality, Chartered Financial Planning firm.
You will be joining their head office support staff team including Paraplanners and Administrators, who provide quality, technical support to their team of Chartered Financial Planners.
As a Paraplanner, you will be focused on providing technical support including:
- Preparing and writing suitability letters and reports
- Conducting research and analysis into financial solutions for clients including income planning, IHT and tax calculations, trust solutions and cashflow planning
- Managing platform process including onboarding, planning completion and set up
- Managing project work which may include seamless transition for acquired client banks
- Liaising with Advisers and their clients
- Preparing letters based on the Adviser’s recommendations
Individuals holding Chartered status would be Senior Paraplanners who also undertake the following:
- Act as a lead technician for the Paraplanner team, providing support and proactive updates on industry changes, training and mentoring to others in the support team
- Assist the team leader with workflow management and promotional material technical sign off
- Helping the team with keeping templates up to date with changes in FCA requirements
Paraplanner Requirements
- You must be Level 4 Diploma qualified in Financial Planning or equivalent
- Individuals holding Chartered status would also be desirable
- You should be a current Paraplanner with experience of research, analysis and report writing
- You should have excellent communication skills

Paraplanner Benefits
- Salary of up to £45,000 for Diploma qualified Paraplanners
- Salary of up to £60,000 for Chartered Paraplanners

- Hybrid based role with up to 2 days from home (may require additional days in the office during probation period)

- 25 days annual leave (rising up to 30 days) plus bank holiday, plus 1 day’s birthday leave and 1 day for charity / community work each year
