Overview

Our client is a growing business delivering integrated and specialist financial advice for corporate and private individuals. The client is looking to expand by hiring an experienced Paraplanner to their Technical team. This role with be supporting the team of Financial Advisers, advising Clients on financial strategies, plans and products.

Typical responsibilities will include

  • Providing an efficient, friendly and professional point of contact for clients and enquiries by telephone, email and in person.
  • Supporting our team of Financial Advisers with research and analysis to meet client needs and objectives
  • Preparing client financial plans and suitability reports, including compilation of recommendations, processing all reason why letters including suitability reports & Wealth Management Plans through to completion
  • Analysing client data and preparing cash flow analysis
  • Researching products to support recommendations, execute due diligence investigations e.g. VCTs, EIS, DFM company, Wrap platform
  • Create illustrations & key facts documents for recommended products
  • Ensure client meeting reports are fully completed
  • Transacting complex client investments and ensuring that deals are carried out in line with instructions.
  • Effectively handle or escalate where appropriate any generic client queries on topics such as investments, pensions and IHT mitigation
  • Manual rebasing and switching for clients
  • Checking information quality documents [IQD]
  • Liaising with product providers and other relevant third parties
  • Managing, recording and monitoring Client annual reviews
  • Assisting the Team leader and advisers with annual technical reviews of services and products
  • Ensuring all supporting documentation and back office systems are maintained as per company procedures and processes.
  • Ensuring that all regulatory and compliance standards are met.

Qualities and Qualifications

  • Ideally applicants will hold - or be working towards - the CII Financial Planning Diploma or Paraplanning Diploma Will also consider those that have prior Paraplanning work experience without the qualification too.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment

Salary : 30000 - 40000
