We are currently recruiting for a highly regarded Financial Planning practice in Milton Keynes that are looking to recruit a Paraplanner. They are ideally looking for someone who has 2 years of experience within a Paraplanning role. Also, they are looking for this candidate to be diploma qualified.
You will be able to provide day to day product and technical support to the business and our advisers, produce accurate, compliant, technical suitability reports, conduct research, provide analysis with detailed strategies for adviser discussion.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Report writing
- Dealing with technical queries
- Product and Fund research in conjunction with Research Analyst
- Packaging reports:-
- - Proof reading reports
- - Printing reports
- - Obtaining illustrations, key features, KIIDS and any other associated documents
- - Obtaining and pre-populating application forms
- First line of compliance:-
- - Checking factfinds
- - Checking status of compliance documents (client agreements, AML etc)
- Problem solving - resolving in-depth problems and issues to find appropriate solutions
- First line of defense for compliance related issues, empowered to challenge advisers
- Communicating with product providers, advisers and clients where necessary
- Keeping knowledge of products and platforms/providers up to date
- Being part of the CPD structure
- Attending quarterly Adviser Days
- General administration as required
- Maintenance of client management system
- Online dealing such as fund switching, place buys and/or placing sales for withdrawals
- Adhere to company procedures
- Ensure all work conducted within a compliant manner and to the firms standards
Systems:-
- Technically competent with:- Outlook, Word, Excel to intermediate level
- Ideally competent with Intelligent Office (back office system) or similar
- Ideally competent with Voyant, O&M Profiler and FE Analytics
- Working knowledge of platforms ideally:- Old Mutual Wealth, Aviva, Ascentric and Aegon ARC
Personal Specification:-
- Diploma qualified
- At least, 2+ years experience as a Paraplanner
- Ability to communicate at all levels, organised, effective time management, ability to prioritise workload
- Take pride in your work and pay particular attention to detail
