A well-established and respected financial planning firm based on the outskirts of Witney, Oxfordshire (OX29) is seeking a Paraplanner to join their team. This independent firm has a reputation for delivering exceptional service and expert advice, helping clients achieve meaningful financial goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work alongside Financial Planners, attending client meetings and acting as the first point of contact for client queries.
  • Undertake technical research, compile financial planning recommendations, and implement solutions.
  • Analyse client data, prepare cash flow analyses and develop comprehensive financial strategies.
  • Manage and maintain investment portfolios, including benchmarking, rebalancing, and ongoing monitoring.
  • Liaise with product providers and other third parties to ensure client solutions are implemented effectively.
  • Ensure all regulatory and compliance standards are met.
  • Collaborate with administrative support teams to deliver a seamless client experience

Skills & Experience Required

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a paraplanning role.
  • Diploma in Financial Planning (Dip PFS) - highly desirable.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial planning areas including investment portfolio management, pensions, taxation, protection, and estate planning.
  • Proficiency in cash flow modelling
  • Experience working with high-net-worth clients or complex financial planning cases is a plus.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a client-focused, collaborative approach.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with strong technical, mathematical, and technology skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage work flow and prioritise tasks.
