Paraplanner - CB3 Associates Ltd : Job Details

The Company: A high calibre, Sheffield based, private wealth focused advisory firm who are looking to add an experienced and ideally fully Diploma qualified Paraplanner to their wealth management team. Following a recent acquisition and expansion of their adviser base, the focus here is on supporting high net worth clients who are exploring estate and succession planning/tax planning solutions.

• Office Location: Central Sheffield
• Hybrid Working: Yes - Flexible across office/home working up to 3-days WFH

Package: £35-37k base + bonus and full company benefits:

• Key Benefits: 5% pension, life assurance & critical illness plus various lifestyle benefits.
• Bonus: Discretionary - Paid annually
• Holidays: 25-days + stats

The Role: A pure paraplanning role providing analysis, detailed research of funds and providers, product recommendations and subsequent suitability report writing for all HNW private clientele. Duties include:

• To produce suitability reports in connection with post-settlement financial advice for financial advisers
• To carry out research into technical issues and products as required
• To convey and discuss technical information
• To request illustrations and associated paperwork from providers as requested.
• To work closely with other members of the team to ensure a consistent level of service which meets client expectations and to ensure team goals are met
• To attend team meetings as directed and participate in discussion complying with any decisions made at such meetings.

The Person: A perfect opportunity for a Paraplanner looking for a wide-reaching role/remit that offers a technical challenge day to day, working HNW circles. Prior paraplanning experience is a necessity with the role hired in at a senior level:

• Required: QCF level 4 Diploma qualified (or close to)
• Preferred: 2+ years’ time-served paraplanning experience which encompasses at-retirement advice, family planning and tax/trust caseloads
