Paraplanner / Senior Technical Support

We are looking to recruit an experienced Paraplanner or someone with strong technical report writing skills to work alongside the Head of Technical for a growing financial services team. The Devon office is part of a larger Financial Services Group who work with Accountancy & Professional Services Companies across the South West.

This key role would be responsible for supporting with a diverse range of technical duties including -

• Interpreting key information and notes from client meetings to research, analyze and produce client reports meeting the needs of the client.
• Work closely with advisers, gaining a good understanding of client positions, objectives and requirements following meetings.
• Produce in depth suitability reports, illustrations, analysis and commentary notes to be presented to the client.
• Have a strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements, working closely with the Head of Compliance.
• Work with the administrative team, ensuring they understand client requirements, action duties and process administration and onboard new platform details.
• Be a proactive part of the wider wealth management team, making recommendations, suggestions and providing constructive feedback to help the division develop.
• Keep up to date with industry knowledge and the changing landscape of financial services products and technologies.

The role would suit someone who either has strong Paraplanning skills and is diploma qualified or someone who is close to qualifying and is keen to continue learning and developing. You will need to demonstrate an excellent understanding of a wide range of financial services products and enjoy researching and developing ideas for client solutions.
